WELCOME

"TWO COMMUNITIES, ONE CHAMBER"

It is with great pleasure that we welcome you to the Birch Run Bridgeport Chamber of Commerce website.  This is an excellent opportunity to get acquainted with both the Chamber and the communities we proudly represent.

Our membership is comprised of dedicated business owners, professionals, community leaders, government officials and everyone in between - working together to continue providing economic stability and quality of life for the Birch Run and Bridgeport areas. The Birch Run Bridgeport Chamber of Commerce serves the Village/Township of Birch Run and the Charter Township of Bridgeport in Saginaw County, as well as many businesses in surrounding communities.

CHAMPIONING BUSINESSES, ENRICHING COMMUNITIES

Our mission is to foster growth and prosperity for local businesses with our networking opportunities, promotion and marketing, and community involvement. From our monthly networking luncheons to our annual signature events, we offer our members many opportunities to network and market their businesses. One of the most effective ways, and unique to our Chamber, is the unlimited digital promotions in our newsletter and on social media.

As a Chamber, we play a pivotal role in organizing events that enrich and give back to the community.  These events promote goodwill and serve as platforms for businesses, organizations, and individuals to come together to support important causes that address local needs and improve the quality of life for our residents.

memorial cup (6).png

The Memorial Cup is the National Championship of the Canadian Hockey League, a consortium of three major junior ice hockey leagues operating in Canada and parts of the United States. It is a four-team round-robin tournament played among the champions of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL), Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League (QMJHL), and Western Hockey League (WHL), and a fourth, hosting team, which alternates between the three leagues annually.

We are proud to have our own, Saginaw Spirit, host the 2024 National Championship, and we look forward to welcoming hockey fans from all over Canada and across the globe to our community.
