Since 2004, the Iris Waste Diversion Specialists team has been providing program management, technical assistance, marketing, education, and material audit services to clients across Michigan and assisting with the strategic development of zero waste and materials management programs. Iris provides food scrap collection services through the Give A Scrap Food Scrap Pickup Service. Serving businesses in the Great Lakes Bay Region since 2015, Give A Scrap has helped sustainably divert from landfill disposal over 300 tons of food to composting for the improvement of local soils.
