Erinn Riedel

Dear Board Members, 

My name is Erinn Riedel, owner of Sweet Shine BBQ and proud member of the Birch Run-Bridgeport Chamber of Commerce. I am writing to express my intent in serving on the Board of Directors for the 2026-2028 term. 

As a small business owner and veteran, I’m passionate about supporting and strengthening our local business community. Through Sweet Shine BBQ, I’ve had the opportunity to connect with residents, fellow entrepreneurs, and organizations across the region, seeing firsthand how collaboration and community engagement can drive economic growth and community pride. 

In addition to running my business, I serve as the Training Development Lead on the Human Performance Team for Defense Logistics Agency. In this role, I work closely with change management, organizational alignment and leadership development, overseeing initiatives that support workforce performance and strategic improvement. These experiences have given me a strong foundation in communication, planning and program development, all skills I would bring to the Chamber’s board. 

I’m eager to contribute my experience and perspective to help advance the Chamber’s mission, support local businesses, and strengthen our community’s economic vitality.
